Meet our Dental Team – Wohlers Family Dentistry
Crystal attended Kennesaw State University where she received a bachelors of arts in communication. She then attended Clayton State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. To continue her dental education, she also takes Hinman classes and hygiene classes with Spear® Education. The office would be in trouble if Crystal wasn’t there to help fix everyone’s cell phones. Crystal and her husband, Michael, met in the 5th grade and married in 2013. They have two children-Brynlee and Bryce. When she isn’t busy at the office, Crystal enjoys watching University of Georgia football, reading, shopping on Amazon, spending time with friends, and on occasion, you might even see her juggling!
Lynette joined our team in January 2019. She moved to our area from Wisconsin in July 2017. She attended Southwest Wisconsin Technical College and also attended University of Wisconsin Platteville. While in Wisconsin, Lynette volunteered at homeless shelters in the area.
Lynnette is a registered dental assistant, a certified orthodontic assistant, a certified medical assistant and is CPR and AED trained. She takes many continuing education courses each year to stay current on all of her certifications and registrations.
Lynette has four children, three sons and a daughter. She enjoys reading, trying out new restaurants, cleaning and organizing, being outside, traveling, the beach and studying history.
She does a great job of keeping our office organized and keeps us all on track, and is very excited to finally meet another “Lynette”.
Martha has been with our practice for over 16 years and is our office spelling champion. She keeps things running smoothly in the office and tackles the tough insurance issues. Martha graduated, (on the Dean’s list), from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Education degree in elementary education. She keeps her skills sharp by attending insurance courses, as well as the Hinman Dental Meeting. Martha and her husband, Richard, have one daughter, Brittany, as well as a grandcat, Chloe, and a granddog, Roux. Martha enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, shopping, going to the beach, and watching University of Georgia football.
Roxanne joined our team in early 2020, and we don’t know what we did before we had her in-office tech support! She graduated from the University of West Georgia with a degree in secondary education and has earned certifications in CPR and basic life support. Roxanne has continued her education to better serve our patients, including completing several classes on breathing and the airway. She has a boyfriend and two daughters and she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and rock climbing in her spare time. She also loves doing photography and arts and crafts—if you ask her, she’s pretty good with a sewing machine!
Karen joined our team in 2019 as a dental hygienist. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in science and biology. She also graduated from Fortis College with an associate degree in dental hygiene. She has a CPR certification and received training to work with patients with special needs. Karen is married, but she and her husband, Alber, don’t have kids yet—though Alber is holding out hopes for twins! When she’s not at work, Karen loves playing the piano.
Rachel joined our team in 2020 as our hygiene coordinator. She earned degrees in early childhood studies and in business management from Gordon College. Rachel is completely obsessed with her dog, Phoebe, and has a niece and two nephews who she loves spending time with. When she isn’t with them, she also enjoys hiking, practicing yoga, biking, and going thrifting.
Andrea joined our team in late 2019 as a dental hygienist. She is a go-with-the-flow kind of person. She graduated from Georgia Perimeter College with an associate degree in dental hygiene, is CPR certified, and is continuing to take courses to improve her knowledge and skills. Andrea is married with two children, three dogs, and a cat. When she’s not at work, she loves shopping and enjoys spending time walking or hiking, reading, doing arts and crafts, watching her kids play soccer or football, and rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs.
